Who says you need to be in Austin to experience real Texas barbecue? Banking on decades of barbecue knowledge handed down from his father, Marcelo, a decorated grand champion pitmaster, Andrew “Butter” Soto is bringing back old-school barbecue.

Butter’s BBQ is based on four simple rules

BBQ Rule #1: Use only the highest-quality, freshest ingredients.

We don’t waste our time with just any old cut of meat. We use prime Angus beef in our barbecue because of its quality, tenderness, and versatility—and if you weren’t a believer before, we guarantee it’ll be love at first bite.

BBQ Rule #2: You can’t have good barbecue without a good fire.

Our smoker stays nice and hot packed with blocks of post oak smoking wood to help deepen the flavor of our meat. The sweet smell alone is enough to whet the appetite of any tried and true Texan.

BBQ Rule #3: Great taste is worth the wait.

We have mastered the perfect ratio of smoke, meat, and spices and let our barbecue bask in it for the better part of a day. Our mouth-watering ribs, tender brisket, and signature, slow-cooked barbacoa spend up to 18 hours smoking to perfection before hitting your plate each time.
